Cybersecurity Specialist 2

Location: On-site in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. U.S. citizenship and an active or obtainable Public Trust clearance are required.

Salary: $60,000–$180,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across traditional IT and operational technology systems.
• Develop and verify documentation for the Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization process.
• Inventory ICS/SCADA systems, conduct vulnerability scans, and document system vulnerabilities.
• Assess, mitigate, and close vulnerabilities while managing Plans of Action and Milestones in eMASS.
• Coordinate technical controls and configuration settings with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and government customers.
• Support ISO standardization, quality inspections, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity posture.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance eligibility are required.
• Education and experience: 0+ years with a master’s degree, 2+ years with a bachelor’s degree, 6+ years with an associate’s degree, or 8+ years with a high school diploma in IT, risk management, or cybersecurity.
• One of the following certifications: CASP CE, CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, CISA, CISM, GCED, or GCIH.
• Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements for industrial control systems and integrated platforms.
• Proficiency with ACAS, HBSS, mitigation strategies, vulnerability management, eMASS, POA&Ms, STIGs, and Security Readiness Review tools.
• Strong understanding of the RMF lifecycle, NIST 800-53 controls, ICS security guidance, and operational control systems.

Nice to have

• Strong skills with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Cameo, and Visio.
