Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 annual base salary in New Jersey, plus an annual target bonus

What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve CI/CD pipelines across on-premises and Azure environments.
• Modernize build and deployment infrastructure by transitioning legacy tooling to scalable cloud platforms.
• Engineer and maintain Azure IaaS and platform services for enterprise workloads.
• Integrate and optimize Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure-hosted services.
• Build secure, resilient, and scalable CI/CD environments with automation frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, security and compliance, developer tools, and application teams while contributing to architecture standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure IaaS, virtual machines, networking, storage, identity and access management, and core infrastructure services.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices, including hands-on Jenkins pipeline development and management.
• Experience with artifact repositories such as Nexus and Git-based platforms, preferably GitHub Enterprise.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments, with strong troubleshooting and systems-level thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM.
• Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, secure pipeline design, security tooling, and enterprise governance.
• Experience working across multiple technology stacks.
