Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; the Data & AI team also operates in Varna. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration.

What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-native AI and Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI Service and AWS AI services such as SageMaker and Bedrock.
• Fine-tune and integrate LLMs, including Claude and GPT-based models, into enterprise applications.
• Build RAG pipelines, vector search, and knowledge-based AI systems using structured and unstructured data.
• Implement Agentic AI workflows with tool usage, orchestration, and multi-step reasoning.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI models for production performance, cost, and reliability.
• Integrate AI services with applications, APIs, and data platforms while collaborating with architects, data engineers, and product teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and experience integrating AI services through APIs.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud-based AI services.
• Practical experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience building RAG systems, vector databases, and semantic search solutions.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen.
• Experience deploying AI solutions in cloud environments, including CI/CD, security, and monitoring, plus knowledge of ML fundamentals, NLP, and AI system design.
