Quality Assurance Manager (Carbon Capture)

Location: Energy_Sealand, United Kingdom; role supports the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Scheme.

What you will do

• Lead implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management Plan and related procedures.
• Embed quality controls across design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage audits, inspections, quality reviews, Inspection and Test Plans, and quality performance reporting.
• Lead non-conformance, corrective action, close-out, documentation, and traceability activities.
• Provide quality oversight to engineering, construction, contractors, subcontractors, and supply-chain partners.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote quality best practice across the project.

Requirements

• Senior experience in quality assurance or quality management within infrastructure, energy, utilities, oil and gas, pipelines, or EPC projects.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with project quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans, inspections, audits, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of construction quality assurance and engineering standards.
• Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, and complex supply chains.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Quality Professional status or Chartered Quality Institute membership.
• Experience in pipeline, carbon capture, energy transition, process infrastructure, EPC, or major design-and-build projects.
