BCG X Vendor Management Senior Manager (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; Casablanca, Morocco; or London, United Kingdom. In-office attendance is required at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, from market research and partner identification through negotiations, contracting, onboarding, quality assurance, timesheets, invoices, and financial settlement.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for firm leaders, external vendors, legal and commercial counterparts, and regional vendor management specialists.
• Lead and mentor a distributed global team of Vendor Management Specialists.
• Drive compliant, efficient, and scalable contingent workforce operations.
• Integrate AI and Agentic AI tools into vendor management, process automation, data analysis, and operational workflows.
• Partner with FinOps to monitor vendor spend, validate timesheets and invoices, and support forecasting and strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Law, Operations, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contingent workforce operations, ideally in professional services or technology.
• Deep expertise in vendor relationship management, procurement, negotiation, contracting, and contingent workforce operations.
• Experience leading and developing distributed, cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Experience with Vendor Management Systems such as SAP Fieldglass and strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools or a strong interest in applying AI to operational workflows.
• Portuguese, Japanese, or Mandarin language skills.
