Investigator, Compliance & Ethics

Location: London, UK; investigations cover UK or EMEA offices and data centre sites.

What you will do

• Lead and conduct misconduct, SpeakUp, and compliance investigations from intake through outcome reporting.
• Create investigation plans, interview reporters, witnesses, and subjects, and analyse documents and data.
• Apply legal guidance on privilege, evidence preservation, interview recording, employee monitoring, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Write fact-based investigation reports, recommend disciplinary and corrective actions, and track remediation to completion.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready case records and conduct post-closure wellness checks to monitor for retaliation.
• Deliver investigations training and support compliance training, risk assessments, monitoring, metrics, reporting, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience conducting compliance investigations.
• Strong investigations practice and interviewing skills, including with senior leaders and in sensitive situations.
• Working knowledge of employment law, anti-retaliation requirements, privacy requirements, and local investigation practices.
• Clear, concise report writing that separates facts from opinion.
• Discretion, impartiality, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple confidential cases with minimal supervision.
• Role based in London, UK, with responsibility for UK or EMEA offices and data centre sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with workplace and harassment investigations.
• CFE, CCEP, AWI-CH, or another relevant certification.
• Experience with case management platforms.
• Experience in data centre, construction, infrastructure, or high-growth technology environments.
• Additional language skills.
