Senior Program Manager, Compliance (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York office; hybrid role

Salary: $121,000–$151,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead planning, prioritization, governance, and execution across the Product Compliance portfolio.
• Coordinate complex compliance programs across Compliance, Operations, Product, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Internal Audit, and Security.
• Drive the Compliance Risk & Remediation program, tracking issues, dependencies, risks, and sustainable resolution.
• Build operating rhythms, roadmaps, dashboards, milestone tracking, and executive reporting.
• Strengthen roles, ownership, documentation, business continuity, controls, and compliance performance measurement.
• Improve workflows through process simplification, automation, and appropriate use of technology and AI.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in program management, compliance operations, operational excellence, or a related field.
• 5+ years leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment such as payroll, HR technology, financial services, fintech, or a similarly complex industry.
• Experience translating regulatory, risk, operational, or control priorities into structured programs and executable plans.
• Experience with risk, compliance, internal controls, audit, or remediation programs.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience in payroll, payroll tax, SaaS, PEO, fintech, or HR technology.
• Experience with operational or process transformation.
• Experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflow automation or technology-enabled process improvements.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk.
