Junior Project Manager (Keet P2P)

Location: Remote; San Salvador, El Salvador

What you will do

• Track Keet engine work across sprints, releases, issues, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Run or support stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives in a mostly asynchronous environment.
• Coordinate dependencies between the engine team, Keet app and UI developers, and QA.
• Prepare status updates, release notes, meeting summaries, and internal documentation.
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, identify risks and blockers, and route issues to the appropriate engineers.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role; internships and open-source involvement count.
• Excellent written English communication is required.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfort working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly.
• Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous team.

Nice to have

• Understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts such as P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, or replication.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.
• Exposure to JavaScript or Node and experience working alongside a development team.
• Interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software.
• Agile or Scrum knowledge, certification, or experience working across multiple time zones.
