VP of Tech Expansion (Fintech): Leading the global adoption and commercial expansion of Tether’s technology ecosystem across AI, self-custodial infrastructure, peer-to-peer systems, and digital and financial infrastructure with an accent on enterprise partnerships, market strategy, and scalable deployments. Focus on originating and closing major partnerships, translating complex requirements into integrated technology solutions, and building a high-performing global expansion organization.
Location: Remote, with the role associated with Barcelona, Spain; international travel is required.

What you will do
- Define and execute the global expansion strategy across ’s technology ecosystem and prioritize markets, industries, partners, and use cases.
- Build relationships with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, government leaders, institutions, regulators, and major enterprises.
- Originate, structure, negotiate, and close major technology partnerships and deployments.
- Translate partner and market requirements into integrated solutions with product, engineering, legal, regulatory, and implementation teams.
- Lead projects from concept through deployment and scale while monitoring performance, risks, budgets, and measurable outcomes.
- Build a high-performing global Tech Expansion organization and create repeatable commercial and execution playbooks.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech, digital assets, telecommunications, or technology business development, including senior leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, decentralized infrastructure, and digital platforms.
- Proven experience closing major enterprise or government technology partnerships and developing global go-to-market strategies.
- Experience managing senior professionals and international teams across multiple regions and cultures.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and executive relationship-building skills.
- Degree in business, engineering, computer science, AI, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
