AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC) (100% Remote)

What you will do

• Translate the QV.AC vision into AI use cases, feature proposals, product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows.
• Research user needs and workflows to identify meaningful problems that AI can solve.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes using design, coding, and AI-assisted tools.
• Collaborate with engineering on feasibility and trade-offs involving model quality, latency, memory, battery consumption, privacy, devices, and models.
• Support prioritization, backlog management, feature development, product reviews, and release readiness.
• Monitor developments in AI products, models, tools, and interaction patterns and recommend relevant experiments or integrations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, ideally with AI software products and technical engineering teams.
• Practical experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI-powered features.
• Working knowledge of inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, context, and evaluation, with an interest in local and on-device AI.
• Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements.
• Strong product judgment, prototyping ability, product analytics, user research, and iterative software development experience.
• Clear written and verbal English communication and the ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with local AI, on-device inference, or open-source models.
• Experience building AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features.
• Familiarity with desktop or mobile product development, peer-to-peer technologies, or decentralized applications.
• Experience evaluating AI output quality and designing for uncertainty and errors.
• Experience working in a distributed team.
