AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC) (100% remote) (AI/on-device AI): Defining and delivering privacy-preserving, local AI assistant features across user research, product specifications, prototyping, and engineering collaboration with an accent on usability, model limitations, and device constraints. Focus on evaluating inference quality, latency, memory and battery trade-offs, translating ambiguous ideas into actionable requirements, and driving features from discovery through iteration.
Location: 100% remote; listed locations are Barcelona or Madrid, Spain

What you will do
- Translate the QV.AC vision into AI use cases, feature proposals, product requirements, and user-centered solutions.
- Research user workflows, gather feedback, and identify meaningful applications for AI.
- Create product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes.
- Collaborate with engineering and design on device and model feasibility, including response quality, latency, memory, battery, and privacy trade-offs.
- Support prioritization, scope definition, dependency management, and backlog planning with the Product Lead.
- Drive assigned features through development, review, release readiness, and iteration while tracking AI developments.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, ideally with AI software products and technical engineering teams.
- Practical experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI-powered features.
- Working knowledge of inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, context, evaluation, and local or on-device AI.
- Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements.
- Strong product judgment, prototyping confidence, product analytics and user research experience.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience with local AI, on-device inference, or open-source models.
- Experience building AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features.
- Experience with desktop or mobile product development.
- Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications.
- Experience evaluating AI output quality and working in distributed teams.
