System Vulnerability Analyst 3 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fort Meade, Maryland, United States; occasional OCONUS travel required.

Salary: $131,000–$161,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Identify vulnerabilities and analyze attacks affecting system design, operation, supported missions, and physical security.
• Compare system attack techniques and develop operationally effective countermeasures.
• Exploit captured media and investigate computer security incidents to derive intelligence and mitigate network vulnerabilities.
• Analyze network data from multiple sources to detect malicious or unauthorized activity.
• Produce formal and informal reports, briefings, and assessments of actual and potential attacks.
• Travel outside the continental United States occasionally as required.

Requirements

• On-site presence in Fort Meade, Maryland, United States is required.
• Doctoral degree plus 4 years, master's degree plus 6 years, bachelor's degree plus 8 years, or associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in computer science or a related field, including computer engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, computer forensics, cybersecurity, information technology, information assurance, or information security.
• Relevant experience in computer or information systems design and development, programming, computer or network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, or systems engineering.
• Red Team experience is required, with capability in network analysis, network anomaly detection, IOCs, the MITRE ATT&CK framework, and AMOD tools.
• Relevant military cyber training may count toward the required experience; an information assurance certification may be required.

Nice to have

• Zero Trust experience related to CNE/CNO, network infrastructure, architecture, and hardening.
• Blue Team or Purple Team experience.
