IT Security Technician (Cybersecurity)

Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, United States; 24/7 and after-hours support required for critical and non-critical security issues.

What you will do

• Configure, implement, maintain, and monitor enterprise security infrastructure across AOPC, Unified Judicial System, court, and state agency environments.
• Analyze security logs, investigate threats and vulnerabilities, and execute remediation and mitigation strategies.
• Support security event correlation, incident response, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, security audits, penetration testing, and threat analysis.
• Design, test, and deploy firewall rules across enterprise firewalls and support WAN, LAN, and Internet security controls.
• Develop security reports, assist with disaster recovery planning, respond to service tickets, and communicate security risks and remediation plans.
• Provide 24/7 and after-hours support for network and security deployments and incidents affecting statewide systems.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of professional experience in IT security or a related field.
• Associate’s degree or higher in information technology or a related field.
• Experience supporting network and cybersecurity infrastructure, security monitoring, vulnerability management, or security operations.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls, security event correlation, incident response, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security audits.
• Experience working with WAN, LAN, Internet, distributed, or statewide network environments.
• Successful criminal background check and verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States are required.
