Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; hybrid position requiring two days per week on-site at the Ballantyne-area office

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze month-end financial reports, review results for accuracy and omissions, and report significant budget and forecast variances.
• Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Develop budgets and forecasts and complete ad hoc reporting and financial studies.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations with accurate supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased reporting efficiency.
• Support regulatory compliance, internal audits, external audits, and government reporting requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, including month-end close or close-to-reporting processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations and manage large volumes of data and complex analyses.
• Ability to work on-site in Charlotte two days per week and comply with additional security screening where required.
