Travel Specialist

hirify.global is a specialized United Nations agency whose Logistics Services Division supports the effective administration and enabling functions required to deliver the Organization’s programmes.

What you will do

• Support policy guidance, exception requests, and monitoring of hirify.global’s corporate travel programme across headquarters and decentralized offices.
• Prepare reports and data for management, auditors, governing bodies, and other stakeholders, while identifying data-quality issues.
• Support global travel projects, including the travel agency contract, online booking tools, and other travel initiatives.
• Monitor contractor service issues and follow up on timely resolution.
• Identify travel-system issues, draft requirements, and support the development and testing of system changes and enhancements.
• Organize and deliver travel-policy training and build capacity among users.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree for Consultants, or a university degree for PSA candidates, in business administration, public administration, data analytics and management, economics, general administration, or a related field.
• Consultants with a bachelor’s degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience managing corporate travel programmes, including data reporting and travel management systems.
• Full proficiency or working knowledge of English, French, or Spanish is required.
• Experience with travel operations, programme monitoring, data analysis, project management, and administrative systems is required; humanitarian-sector experience is relevant.
• Ability to manage complex workloads independently, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and develop innovative solutions.
