Data Engineer/Data Consultant (Life Sciences)

Location: Spain or Denmark; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least once a week

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and data architecture for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, gather requirements, and provide technical data solutions.
• Improve data quality and support data governance best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in STEM or another quantitative field.
• Experience with Python or other programming languages such as R, Java, or C++.
• Experience developing and maintaining data and ETL flows.
• Knowledge of Bash, databases, data warehousing, ETL, and data modelling concepts.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and independent working skills.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, investigative, and results-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with collaborative software development using Git and UNIX.
• Experience with GxP or other regulated data, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience gathering business and technical requirements in client-facing consulting roles.
• Experience with pharmaceutical R&D data, including clinical, regulatory, quality, or safety data.
