Technical Program Manager (Robotics)

Location: Via Melen 83, 16152 Genoa, Italy; availability to travel nationally and internationally is expected.

What you will do

• Lead strategic, company-wide robotics programs from prototype development through production readiness.
• Coordinate planning across AI, robot skills, navigation, embedded software, electronics, mechanics, manufacturing, and production teams.
• Build and maintain program roadmaps, critical paths, dependency maps, milestones, delivery forecasts, and status reports.
• Drive system integration and release readiness across hardware, firmware, software, AI models, and manufacturing processes.
• Manage technical, organizational, operational, and supplier-related risks.
• Establish governance and continuous improvement practices that increase execution transparency and delivery predictability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar leader delivering complex multidisciplinary products.
• Strong understanding of software development, AI systems, embedded software, electronics, and hardware development processes.
• Experience managing large-scale programs across multiple teams, stakeholders, and technical domains.
• Experience with Agile product development and cross-functional organizations, plus strong planning, problem-solving, systems-thinking, and risk-management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and availability for national and international travel are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in humanoid robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, or other complex hardware/software industries.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering, SAFe, Lean Product Development, or Technical Program Management methodologies.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing, certification activities, production ramp-up, hardware-software integration, or product lifecycle management.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
