Programme Officer (Forest Monitoring)

Location: hirify.global headquarters, Rome, Italy; onsite staff position.

What you will do

• Support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of forest monitoring projects and programmes.
• Design indicators and means of verification, collect progress data, and support internal and external evaluations.
• Develop guidance for standardized pre- and post-training assessments and surveys.
• Prepare analytical notes, reports, presentations, and donor reporting materials.
• Support Steering Committee meetings, work planning, Letters of Agreement, and compliance with hirify.global procedures.
• Contribute to programme and project formulation and resource mobilization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, public administration, social science, political science, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in project or programme management, administration, or a related area.
• Working knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of another hirify.global official language: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish.
• Experience in programme or project work planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
• Experience in administration, human resources, and finance, preferably across more than one location or work area.
• Knowledge of forest monitoring and delivery of forest monitoring projects and programmes.

• Understanding of hirify.global policies and programmes.
• Experience in field positions.
