Associate Director, Complex Program Management

What you will do

• Define program vision, outcomes, success measures, and roadmaps aligned with customer and business objectives.
• Lead multiple interconnected projects, managing dependencies, sequencing, trade-offs, scope, schedules, and resources.
• Establish program governance, reporting cadence, risk management, and decision-escalation paths.
• Direct and support project managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent delivery standards and execution.
• Manage program financials, including forecasting, tracking, budgets, and approved commitments.
• Track performance through data, dashboards, and metrics while managing risks, stakeholder alignment, quality, compliance, and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading complex programs with multiple concurrent projects and interdependencies.
• Strong expertise in program governance, planning, risk management, and delivery controls.
• Demonstrated ability to manage program financials, including forecasts, budgets, and trade-offs.
• Experience coordinating and influencing project managers and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable program plans with clear outcomes and milestones.
• Experience using data, dashboards, and metrics to manage program performance and predict risks.
• Ability to work effectively in changing-priority environments while maintaining delivery focus.

Nice to have

• Program or project management certification such as PgMP, PMP, or PRINCE2.
• Experience with agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Familiarity with large-scale IT or transformation programs.
• Experience managing external partners or vendors.
• Exposure to customer-facing delivery environments.
