Associate Director, Portfolio Management

What you will do

• Define and maintain a prioritized portfolio roadmap aligned with customer commitments and business goals.
• Partner with account and delivery leaders to plan, sequence, and balance portfolio demand and capacity.
• Establish portfolio governance, milestones, and success measures, making progress and risks visible.
• Track project and program performance across schedules, quality, dependencies, and financial indicators.
• Identify portfolio-level risks and issues, define mitigation actions, and support resolution across teams.
• Use portfolio data, retrospectives, metrics, and process refinement to support decisions, scenario planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience managing a portfolio of projects or programs within a technology or services environment.
• Proficiency with portfolio and project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models.
• Ability to assess complex delivery scenarios and make data-driven prioritization and trade-off decisions.
• Experience working with delivery leaders, technical teams, and account stakeholders.
• Skill in tracking and reporting portfolio performance using metrics, dashboards, or management reviews.
• Experience identifying and managing cross-project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma.
• Experience in technology domains such as cloud, infrastructure, application services, or network services.
• Experience with stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
