What you will do
- Lead unmanned aerial systems programs across requirements mapping, concept definition, R&D, integration, field trials, delivery, and customer acceptance.
- Act as the primary interface for customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
- Create execution roadmaps, Work Breakdown Structures, management cadences, status reviews, and action tracking.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical teams in a matrix environment and align functional managers around shared goals.
- Manage program budgets, forecasts, resources, schedules, scope changes, procurement, and risk mitigation.
- Lead design reviews, readiness gates, system integration, verification, field trials, demonstrations, and executive reporting.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience managing complex, multidisciplinary programs in unmanned or aerial systems, including hardware and software integration across the full lifecycle.
- Experience with program scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, procurement, and customer deliverables.
- Strong systems and technical understanding, including engineering trade-offs and translating CONOPS and contracts into executable work plans.
- Hands-on experience with design reviews, system integration, verification, field testing, and customer acceptance.
- Hebrew and English communication skills are required; availability for non-standard hours during field tests and deployments is expected.
Nice to have
- Defense industry experience or experience with the Israeli Ministry of Defense, DDR&D (MAFAT), or the IDF.
- Hands-on familiarity with drones and unmanned systems.
- M.Sc. in Engineering, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree.
- PMP or equivalent program management certification.
