Contract Expert (Aerospace/Defense)

What you will do

• Act as the independent and neutral “Voice of the Contract” across Airbus Helicopters divisions.
• Interpret and enforce strategic commercial terms, contractual baselines, and liability provisions.
• Manage contractual breaches, claims, correspondence, and structured dispute resolution from detection through closure.
• Develop contractual strategies to mitigate exposure, recover margin, and prevent contract value leakage.
• Advise on supplier failures, negotiations, and complex terms and conditions.
• Govern contract modifications in CLM tools and deliver training to operational teams.

Requirements

• Expertise in complex contract drafting and aerospace or defense terms and conditions.
• Understanding of the impact of contracts on margin and financial performance.
• Ability to maintain operational independence, integrity, and impartiality.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills in matrix organizations without hierarchical authority.
• Proficiency with continuous improvement methods, including LBIP+, and contract lifecycle management tools.
• Fluent English is required; the role is based in Getafe, Spain.
