Senior PCB Layout Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design PCB layouts for complex electronic boards used in satellite systems.
• Translate schematics into robust layouts in collaboration with hardware, RF, and systems engineers.
• Manage high-speed, high-density, mixed-signal, and RF layouts.
• Ensure compliance with space and satellite constraints, including EMC, signal integrity, thermal performance, and reliability.
• Apply DFM, DFA, and DFT best practices and participate in design reviews.
• Use Altium Designer and Altium 365 for collaborative design and data management, while improving layout standards and methodologies.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a PCB Layout Engineer in aerospace, satellite, defense, or other high-reliability electronics.
• Strong expertise with Altium Designer and Altium 365.
• Proven experience with high-speed digital design, RF and mixed-signal layouts, multilayer, and high-density PCBs.
• Good understanding of signal integrity, EMC, power integrity, and thermal constraints.
• Ability to work in international, multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with space-qualified or satellite-grade hardware.
• Knowledge of ECSS or equivalent aerospace standards.
• Experience with rigid-flex PCBs.
• Exposure to constellation or telecommunications satellite programs.
