System Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, system definition, and implementation of robotic systems from concept through field deployment.
• Translate mission needs and system requirements into system-level architectures and designs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering across mechanical, electrical, software, GNC, and ML teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and system-level simulations.
• Oversee integration, prototyping, validation, and design reviews to ensure performance, robustness, and reliability.
• Improve requirements traceability, system documentation, and validation workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in robotics, aerospace, or defense.
• MSc in Engineering; a PhD is an advantage.
• Experience leading complete system lifecycles from concept through prototype and validation.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, requirements engineering, and trade-off analysis.
• Broad understanding of mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems, with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and technical interfaces.
• Rigorous, structured, mission-driven approach with strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with unmanned aerial systems or defense systems.
