Senior Software Engineer (Edge & Embedded Security)

What you will do

• Design end-to-end security solutions across the edge, embedded, hardware, and software stack.
• Deliver production-quality software engineering solutions for autonomous drone systems.
• Identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external penetration-testing teams.
• Participate in hardware design discussions and establish scalable security practices for production deployments.
• Act as the internal technical authority on security-related decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Linux systems, preferably embedded Linux.
• Experience securing embedded or edge devices across hardware and software.
• Knowledge of cryptography, practical encryption, key management, authentication, and secure provisioning.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities, guiding remediation, and applying modern networking and security principles such as zero trust.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, influence technical decisions, and explain security trade-offs clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with penetration testing, security assessments, secure boot, TPM, or hardware roots of trust.
• Experience with robotics, drones, aerospace, scale-up environments, production deployment, or device fleet management.
• Experience with Yocto, Nix, or containerized device build workflows.
