Customer Data Steward (SOC 2)

What you will do

• Support SOC 2 compliance and audit readiness across delivery projects from onboarding through audit closure.
• Onboard project managers and delivery directors through a structured four-week SOC 2 program and conduct recurring sessions.
• Advise stakeholders on SOC 2 processes, controls, evidence requirements, audit types, and timelines.
• Monitor onboarding checklists, self-checks, lifecycle readiness, overdue items, and control risks using compliance dashboards.
• Support external EY audits by preparing project managers, consulting on evidence, attending interviews, and validating submissions.
• Maintain SOC 2 materials, workflows, checklists, and SharePoint resources while proposing process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in delivery, project management, business analysis, quality assurance, information security, or a related role in a software development company.
• Understanding of software company operations, delivery processes, and customer information management.
• Experience with compliance frameworks, audit processes, or information security programs.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Awareness of U.S. and European business practices and cultural norms related to data management.
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher and availability to work remotely from Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar certifications.
• Familiarity with Workday, Asana, and Power BI.
• Understanding of Secure SDLC and data governance controls in software delivery.
