Senior Operations Project Manager (Strategic Programs)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid role with flexible working hours and home office options.

What you will do

• Lead projects and workstreams from initiation and concept design through implementation, adoption, and closure.
• Maintain project charters, integrated delivery plans, milestones, budgets, RAID logs, dependencies, decision logs, and benefits measures.
• Coordinate cross-GDC programs across locations, teams, and global departments while managing scope, schedule, quality, cost, risks, and outcomes.
• Translate GDC priorities, OKRs, and leadership decisions into roadmaps, work packages, and accountable delivery plans.
• Partner with site and functional leadership on strategic initiatives involving innovation, productivity, operational effectiveness, and employee experience.
• Improve PMO governance, portfolio processes, reporting, workflow automation, collaboration, and delivery visibility using Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Platform, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project, program, PMO, strategy execution, or transformation management, including ownership of complex projects.
• At least 3 years of experience with planning, governance, RAID management, dependency management, budgeting, benefits tracking, and executive reporting.
• Experience in global, multi-site, multicultural, or matrix organizations and engagement with senior leadership partners.
• Fluent professional English.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT.
• Experience with Power Platform automation.
• Project management certification such as Project Management Professional or Product Owner.
