What you will do

  • Define and execute the long-term development strategy for the Visp site, supporting competitiveness, sustainability, and growth.
  • Partner with site and senior corporate leaders on strategic priorities, investment plans, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the Transformation Office of the Visp Innovation Program, including governance, portfolio management, value realization, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Oversee infrastructure and workplace initiatives that improve productivity, employee experience, sustainability, and business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, compliance, and cost-effective delivery across Facility Management, Central Services, and Central Hygiene.
  • Lead a 100+ employee organization and outsourced service partners while ensuring accountability, collaboration, and alignment across stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience delivering large-scale transformation initiatives in complex industrial environments.
  • Experience in CDMO, pharmaceutical, chemical, life sciences, or related industries.
  • Strong expertise in strategy execution, CAPEX/OPEX budgets, investment portfolios, business cases, and complex programs.
  • Proven ability to improve operational excellence, productivity, innovation, and organizational performance.
  • Experience leading large, diverse organizations and managing organizational change.
  • Business-fluent German and English are required. A master's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline is required.

Nice to have

  • Project management certification such as PMP or Prince2.
