Manufacturing Engineer Intern (Robotics)

What you will do

• Support engineering and production teams in developing and updating manufacturing plans.
• Draft and maintain work instructions, test plans, Bills of Materials, inspection records, and quality reports.
• Provide supervised technical support for production issues involving equipment, processes, quality, and manufacturing systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate manufacturing requirements with suppliers and support quality checks for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Prepare training materials and assist with training on quality standards and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or current undergraduate study in a relevant field.
• Exposure to manufacturing or quality engineering and knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Basic experience with Altium Designer or comparable PCB CAD tools.
• Basic knowledge of embedded-system communication protocols including CAN, Ethernet, and Serial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with EMI/EMC, vibration, temperature, and humidity testing.
• Exposure to 2D schematics, wire harnessing, or cable assembly design software.
