Hardware Support Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Singapore, Central Singapore

Develops and supports cleaning robots and related electromechanical products.

What you will do

• Resolve complex hardware escalations from field teams, distributors, and customers within SLA targets.
• Investigate field failures using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and other structured root cause analysis methods.
• Drive corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyze field failure trends and recommend reliability improvements across the robot fleet.
• Create repair guides, diagnostic procedures, and technical knowledge-base content.
• Support ECN implementation, NPI-to-sustaining transitions, production-line support, and technical training.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in hardware support, field service, or reliability engineering; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and structured RCA methodologies, including 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, and Fishbone.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience training and mentoring junior engineers.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred.
