Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden. Hybrid work with attendance at the office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Build and evolve core services for clinician schedules, slot availability, and patient bookings.
• Solve scheduling challenges such as matching patients with clinicians, balancing capacity, and handling rebookings.
• Deliver full-stack solutions with design, product, clinical operations, and data teams.
• Develop and optimize client-side and server-side features with clean APIs and seamless usability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and iterative software improvements.
• Set up infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and React.
• Experience developing cloud-based applications with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience building backend services and APIs, ideally for distributed or multi-market systems.
• Ability to work with different languages and frameworks and learn new technologies quickly.
• Comfortable working in English, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to use AI coding assistants and agents as part of development, review, and delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kotlin.
