Production Supervisor (Medtech)

Location: Castlebar, Mayo, Ireland; onsite

What you will do

• Oversee production activities and deliver departmental Safety, Quality, Cost, and Customer Service targets.
• Lead, support, and motivate production employees while fostering a positive and accountable working environment.
• Drive continuous improvement against departmental KPIs and support improvement projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Finance, and Product Development.
• Maintain standards for EHS, 6S, GMP, and departmental housekeeping.
• Make timely decisions on product rejects and process stops, and report departmental performance to management.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment with a good understanding of GMP requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, and Service Delivery results.
• Leadership, interpersonal, people-management, employee development, training, and performance-review experience.
• Experience managing absence, timekeeping, conduct, and employee performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Third-level qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
