Manufacturing Operations Specialist Intern (Lyo)

Location: Waterford, Ireland; on-site. Start date: mid-January 2027. Duration: 6–8 months.

What you will do

• Support daily lyophilisation manufacturing operations in accordance with safety requirements and GMP.
• Prepare, review, and update manufacturing procedures, batch documentation, and training materials.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation for quality reviews and audits.
• Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments on projects, issue follow-up, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Current university student studying Engineering, Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
• Plans to return to university after completing the internship.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Good communication skills, including the ability to contribute in meetings and present information.
• Proactive, curious, collaborative, and interested in continuous improvement and manufacturing.
