Product Supply Process Engineering Intern (Biopharma)

Location: Waterford, Ireland; full-time onsite. Start date: January 2027. Duration: 6–8 months.

What you will do

• Support process engineering activities across auto-injector assembly and packaging operations.
• Identify and implement manufacturing improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Contribute to new product introductions, capacity expansion, and component implementation projects.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret manufacturing data to support process performance and decision-making.
• Investigate process issues, support problem-solving activities, and contribute to corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, protocols, and presentations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 2nd- or 3rd-year student pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
