Digital Content Officer

Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered.

Salary: £33,002–£36,636 pro rata per annum, depending on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Plan, create, and deliver digital content across social media, video, photography, website, and newsletter channels.
• Create engaging, accessible, and visually compelling content about exhibitions, collections, public programmes, and civic work.
• Identify stories and capture rich content in collaboration with Curatorial, Civic Engagement and Education, and Audiences and Communications colleagues.
• Translate stories into platform-ready outputs that build connections with local, national, and international audiences.
• Film, edit, and independently produce content while contributing to agreed communications plans.

Requirements

• Practical experience creating digital content for multiple channels.
• Confidence with filming, editing, photography, website content, social media, and newsletters.
• Ability to produce work independently and contribute to communications plans.
