IT Business Analyst (Banking / Financial Services)

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; hybrid, combining office work with working from home

What you will do

• Lead workshops and interviews with business stakeholders to model current and future-state processes.
• Identify pain points, manual steps, handovers, data needs, control points, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Translate KYC/AML, GDPR, DORA, audit, and control requirements into process and system requirements.
• Work iteratively with the Solution Architect on user flows, wireframes, fit-gap analysis, technical constraints, and validated prototypes.
• Convert validated processes into epics, user stories, Given/When/Then acceptance criteria, and a prioritised MVP backlog for the April release.
• Support refinement, sprint planning, test preparation, UAT, acceptance, and the management of changes, risks, and decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in banking, financial services, or insurance.
• Experience taking projects from process analysis through backlog creation and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery using Scrum or SAFe and mixed client/vendor teams.
• Strong BPMN process modelling and requirements engineering skills, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of banking domains such as onboarding, lending, leasing, payments, CRM, or customer servicing, together with the regulatory context.
• Fluent English is required; Dutch is a plus.
