Senior Software Engineer (Python; Cloud)

Location: Hybrid role based in Katowice or Poznań, Poland, with office attendance averaging four days per week

Salary: 140–200 PLN net per hour for B2B cooperation

What you will do

• Analyze business and technical requirements and design high-level architectures and lower-level software components.
• Design, build, and maintain applications using Python and modern engineering practices.
• Use AI tools across development, debugging, code quality, and problem-solving workflows.
• Collaborate directly with clients, stakeholders, and engineers to clarify requirements and lead technical discussions.
• Own delivery end to end while maintaining alignment with architectural constraints, technical standards, and project goals.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.

Requirements

• Practical Python development experience and strong problem-solving and engineering judgment.
• Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for using AI tools in software development.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on at least one major cloud platform; Microsoft Azure experience is required.
• Intermediate architecture skills and the ability to translate system requirements into component designs.
• Excellent written and spoken English for client-facing communication and technical alignment.
• Strong ownership, accountability, initiative, and adaptability in changing technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs or Python microservices architectures.
• Experience integrating AI-powered solutions, LLMs, MCPs, and developer AI tools into software development processes.
