Head of Facility Management Europe

Location: Sevenum, Netherlands, with regular travel across European sites and on-site presence in Sevenum required

What you will do

• Define and execute the European Facility Management strategy in line with business growth, operational resilience, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
• Lead governance and operational continuity across logistics centers, warehouses, headquarters, and office locations throughout Europe.
• Build and empower a decentralized, multi-country Facility Management organization with clear accountability and continuous improvement practices.
• Provide strategic direction to the Technical Engineering function responsible for conveyor and automation system maintenance.
• Manage budgets, vendor strategy, performance management, and long-term CAPEX/OPEX investment planning.
• Establish scalable governance frameworks, KPIs, reporting structures, and partnerships with Operations, Logistics, HR, Finance, and executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in international Facility Management, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in strategic Facility Management leadership and management of large, multi-country portfolios.
• Demonstrated responsibility for budgets in the multi-million-euro range.
• Ability to build organizational structures, governance models, and scalable processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across European sites and work on site in Sevenum.
• Fluent or business-level English is mandatory. German or Dutch is an advantage.
