Global Reporting Expert (ISSB, GRI, CSRD/ESRS)

Location: Mannheim, Germany; hybrid work model with three in-office days per week

What you will do

• Own regulatory content across the product suite and translate international frameworks into product requirements and content specifications.
• Identify overlaps, gaps, and interoperability points across ISSB, GRI, and CSRD/ESRS and communicate their implications to product and engineering teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and convert changes into a prioritized content roadmap.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to make regulatory content usable for reporting professionals.
• Maintain structured datasets, mappings, regulatory catalogs, and implementation logic.
• Balance regulatory rigor, usability, technical feasibility, and commercial impact when prioritizing content.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in international non-financial reporting, ideally including financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of ISSB, GRI, and CSRD/ESRS, including their structure, evolution, connections, and conflicts.
• Tech affinity and experience collaborating with product and engineering teams on software features and technical trade-offs.
• Structured working style, strong prioritization skills, and confidence managing complex regulatory topics.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large structured datasets and requirement mappings.
• Fluent German and English proficiency at C1 level or higher are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with emissions and carbon accounting, including corporate carbon footprint, Scope 1–3 emissions, and GHG Protocol standards.
• Experience with sustainability reporting software products.
• Familiarity with licensing processes and rights management for standards and regulatory content.
