Systems Administrator (Singapore)

Location: Singapore; on-site five days a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime, weekend assignments, and travel to Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.

What you will do

• Provide hands-on, in-person support for PC hardware, peripherals, software deployments, mobile devices, videoconferencing, and AV equipment.
• Support trading-floor users and perform occasional data-center work.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows PCs and servers, UNIX servers, mobile devices, and communications infrastructure.
• Partner with global teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve technical and non-technical issues.
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, automation, and process-efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows enterprise environment and standard applications such as Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with systems administration, including hardware and software administration and desk-side, trade-floor, AV, conferencing, event, and remote-user support.
• Strong research, analytical, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Singapore, with occasional overtime and weekend assignments.
• Willingness to occasionally travel to the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.
• Working proficiency in Mandarin is preferred because of interaction with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
