Project Director (Live Events)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid workplace. UK eligibility required, with UK and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead the Live Events team and oversee the delivery of multiple client projects and events.
• Manage timelines, budgets, profitability, quality standards, documentation, and financial reconciliation.
• Serve as the senior client contact for key accounts, leading meetings, presentations, account development, and client satisfaction.
• Mentor Event Project Managers and Coordinators and contribute to recruitment and training.
• Coordinate with Content & Creative teams, suppliers, Directors of Events, and commercial stakeholders.
• Support proposals, client pitches, networking, supplier negotiations, and new business growth.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience with management responsibilities.
• Degree-level education or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience planning, developing, and delivering live, digital, and hybrid events.
• Strategic client relationship management, business development, account growth, and large-scale project delivery experience.
• Experience monitoring budgets and managing project finances, with strong leadership and presentation skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and eligibility to work in the UK are required.
