Accounting Manager

Location: Beijing, China; five days per week in the office

hirify.global manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives for customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Manage financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions.
• Produce accurate and timely internal and external financial reports in accordance with GAAP and Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Prepare or lead reports forecasting business activity and financial position across income, expenses, and earnings.
• Ensure accounting policies and practices are followed while working with auditors, tax examiners, and other financial professionals.
• Oversee accounting staff, support professional development, and analyze and resolve accounting problems.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Extensive experience with accounting methods, processes, financial statements, and accounting systems.
• Extensive experience designing, interpreting, and maintaining accurate financial reports.
• Working knowledge of financial analysis, planning, judgment and decision-making, and people management.
• Ability to work in the Beijing office five days per week.
