Associate Manager - Hedge Funds

Location: Hong Kong, hybrid

What you will do

• Manage the scope of fund accounting services for hedge fund clients, including complex investment accounting and valuation.
• Prepare periodic NAV reporting packages and deliver accurate client reports within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Prepare annual and semi-annual fund financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, and other applicable standards.
• Coordinate financial statement preparation with clients, auditors, and internal SS&C teams.
• Resolve operational issues, maintain strong internal controls, and support service delivery improvements.
• Support new client setups, fund launches, fund conversions, and process improvement projects.

Requirements

• University degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting within a financial services environment.
• Experience reviewing different types of financial statements and knowledge of the fund industry, preferably hedge funds.
• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to anticipate issues, drive solutions, collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated record of delivering process improvements.
