Accountant / Senior Accountant

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day accounting for the Hong Kong, Singapore, and China entities, including revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
• Support statutory audits by maintaining accurate records and providing documentation to auditors.
• Assist with tax filings, including Singapore GST, China VAT, and corporate income tax matters across the relevant jurisdictions.
• Contribute to process improvements within the Asia finance function and complete ad hoc finance and administrative duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; experienced candidates may be considered for Senior Accountant.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
• Proactive approach with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is preferred.

Nice to have

• Recognised professional accounting qualification or progress toward one.
• Experience in a professional services or multinational environment.
• Experience supporting statutory audits and tax filing.
• Familiarity with Singapore GST and China VAT filing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite.
• Treasury experience.
• Mandarin proficiency.
