Sr. Accountant

hirify.global operates subsidiaries in China requiring general accounting, reporting, analysis, and compliance support.

What you will do

• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, supporting work papers, and financial statements.
• Reconcile bank, tax, intercompany, balance sheet, US GAAP, and local GAAP accounts, resolving open items and posting required adjustments.
• Ensure accurate Oracle sub-ledger postings for fixed assets, accounts receivable, inventory, Oracle Retail, and sales journals.
• Manage LUX lease-tool data and ensure lease assets, liabilities, and journal entries comply with ASC 842 and IFRS 16.
• Prepare expense, trend, budget-versus-actual, sales margin, management, tax, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Support SOX compliance, internal and external audits, regulatory compliance, process improvements, and finance-related projects.

Requirements

• Experience preparing and analyzing financial data for subsidiary financial statements and management reporting.
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and local statutory accounting requirements.
• Ability to perform general ledger accounting, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, accruals, and account analysis.
• Experience with Oracle sub-ledgers, including fixed assets, accounts receivable, inventory, Oracle Retail, and sales journals.
• Knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting, including lease assets, liabilities, and journal entries.
• Ability to support SOX compliance, internal audits, external U.S. GAAP audits, and local statutory audits.
• Ability to investigate unusual transactions and fluctuations, determine appropriate accounting treatment, and recommend process improvements.
