Collections Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Miami, United States; hybrid and Miami-based

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 USD base salary per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Build and lead the end-to-end U.S. consumer-lending collections operation from early delinquency through recoveries.
• Develop segmentation, treatment strategies, repayment programs, scalable workflows, and recovery processes.
• Define and implement the collections technology stack, including loan-servicing integrations, workflow automation, digital communications, analytics, and third-party tools.
• Own portfolio performance metrics and improve results through data analysis, experimentation, and continuous optimization.
• Translate federal, state, and banking-partner requirements into operational policies, system controls, contact strategies, quality assurance, and audit-ready procedures.
• Build the collections organization, establish performance standards, coach employees, manage vendors, and plan capacity as the business expands into new states.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of B2C collections and recoveries experience, including 3 years serving the U.S. market and 2 years in strategy or operational leadership.
• Experience with unsecured personal loans, installment lending, credit cards, or comparable consumer portfolios, including building or significantly transforming collections operations.
• Experience leading first-party or third-party collections teams, managing performance, productivity, effectiveness, conversation quality, technology vendors, and external agencies.
• Working knowledge of FDCPA/Regulation F, TCPA, and state-level U.S. contact rules.
• Strong skills in portfolio analytics, segmentation, forecasting, experimentation, collections economics, systems implementation, and automation.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish; experience with Latino consumers in the U.S. is preferred.
