Resource Manager

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: $50–$70 CAD per hour in Ontario

What you will do

• Support the development and implementation of weekly resource planning processes across a global team.
• Centralise, forecast, organise, and allocate production resource requests.
• Identify skills and maximise availability and utilisation across CGI, retouching, finishing, photography, video editing, and animation disciplines.
• Schedule studio resources in advance and confirm bookings with discipline leads.
• Identify resource risks, prioritise conflicts, and escalate proposed solutions.
• Forecast demand and source, onboard, and book freelance resources when required.

Requirements

• Experience in a CGI-led studio environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Keynote, Outlook, Mac, Flow, Crew Planning, and Workfront.
• Experience with resource reporting, monitoring timesheets, holidays, and absences.
• Strong freelance networking and relationship management skills.
• Ability to solve resource conflicts and work efficiently and autonomously in a fast-paced creative environment.

• Interest in or knowledge of resource management tools and systems.
