Project Scheduler (Remote Opportunity)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; Tampa, Florida is listed as the role location. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for concurrent IT initiatives using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Define tasks, dependencies, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements with project managers and technical teams.
• Track progress, update schedules, and prepare status reports and schedule documentation for stakeholders and leadership.
• Monitor resource allocation, identify conflicts and bottlenecks, and assess scheduling constraints.
• Perform critical path analysis, identify risks and delays, and support mitigation planning.
• Facilitate scheduling meetings and coordinate updates across cross-functional Agile teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field and at least five years of project scheduling experience in IT or a related industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of the IT project lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with dependency management, critical path analysis, and resource planning across concurrent projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Must reside within the continental United States and be a U.S. citizen.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
• Experience with healthcare IT or federal technology modernization projects.
• PMP or PMI-SP certification.
