AI Data Engineer (LLM/MCP)

Location: Remote, US; applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship

Salary: $200,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot production-grade AI and machine learning applications and reusable frameworks.
• Build and integrate large language model and agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, OpenAI SDKs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, FastAPI, and Python.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, LLM deployment, fine-tuning, and enterprise application integrations.
• Develop data pipelines and cloud-native architectures using Snowflake and AWS services including Glue, S3, Lambda, and SageMaker.
• Apply data modeling, governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, AI solution development, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, agentic AI systems, Model Context Protocol, AI/ML frameworks, and data pipelines.
• Advanced Python proficiency and hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, Snowflake, AWS, LangChain, LlamaIndex, FastAPI, and AWS/OpenAI SDKs.
• Experience with data governance, security, compliance, and advanced data modeling.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
