Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Support the Manufacturing Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly production scheduling and prioritization.
• Coordinate people and material resources with the planner to meet shipment requirements and customer deadlines.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate manufacturing team members.
• Communicate production status, quality concerns, risks, and operational issues across management and cross-functional teams.
• Lead accountability meetings and maintain safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency in assigned work areas.
• Collaborate with technical staff on process improvements and new process implementation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• College or university degree in operations management or a related field.
• Experience with MRP systems, production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and work order creation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, planning and forecasting principles, team leadership, and conflict resolution.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, in a fast-changing environment, and with a diverse workforce.

Nice to have

• Lean continuous improvement or Six Sigma experience, including Green Belt or Yellow Belt certification.
